Options for 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP?

stay away for that car,i had 2 of them, and learned the hard way, 1999 gtp and 2000gtp. way too many problems dont take my word for it see automotiveforums.com, fuel pumps,water pumps, fuel relays, power options like windows mirrors,seats, fuel resistor ,thats a fun one to change its behind the washer tank inside the fender, have fun with that one,gm sells a kit to relocate it on firewall, the 1st gtp i had i though just was a lemon you know made on a friday or something,BUT both cars had almost exactly the same problems, fuel relay switchs burn out, leaving you stranded,the transmissions are weak,hud stopped working on the 1999,and the 2000 its all dimmed out,can barly see it, cd changer stopped working,the clock on the stero is screwed,the console shifter always messes up ,$400.00 to replace that,the antitheft system s u c ks the put it mildly,the performance shifter on stopped working,most of all these cars made me late several times for work!when security light flashes you have to leave the key in the on acc postion for 15 to 20 minutes so the computer resets ,then its starts,this is because ,the theft system shuts pwer to the fuel pump so you cant go anywhere,the key is encoded if you bang it around GM will charge you $90.00 us to encode the key again,,PLUS the service is s h i t t y, pontiac knows of these problems but they do nothing about it because they say its not a safty concern, the ONLY good thing about these cars is the motor itself the 3.8 supercharged engine ,my neighbour has the same car 1999 gtp and has over 250,000 miles on his orginal motor never rebuilt, however when talking to him he said hes had almost all the same problems i had,,so take my advice,,dont go down the expensive road i went down TWICE ! these car are nice and everything when they work properly,,, so i hope this changes your mind about these lemons,,i cant go on some more about this subject but my fingers are cramping up,,,,,,,,,,out
